I agree with you about the bewildering rate of change. It is as if nothing is permanent and you have to give up whatever you believed in sooner or later. I think most professions are inexorably moving towards joining the working class as a consequence of the neoliberal doctrine that is so entrenched in different parts of the world now. By the way, thoroughly enjoyed reading your book on CEO selection. I am looking forward to your next book.

I always wonder how the academics come up with theories about such subjective issues and try to describe it in a discreet modules. In field like business, I think its is more important to realize the pattern of changes than to develop a module that claims to work as a rule.
